Ministries

Ministry is one of the most important ways that members of Saint Boniface participate in the liturgical life of the community. These ministries include:

• Hospitality Ministers - Greet worshipers at the door of the church and assist with many of the practical tasks of creating a welcoming atmosphere in the church.
• Lectors and Cantors - In the sanctuary Lectors proclaim readings  from the Old and New Testaments during the Liturgy of the Word and the parish Cantors lead the assembly in song.
• Eucharistic Ministers - Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, or Eucharistic Ministers, are delegated by the priest celebrant to help with the distribution of the Sacrament both at the liturgies as well as to the sick in their homes or hospitals
• Cross and Candle Bearers - Youth members of our community, these young men and women dignify liturgical celebrations by leading processions.
• Ministers of the Ceremony - Supervise the flow and co-ordination of the rites and act in close collaboration with the priest celebrant.
