7th -10th Graders & Older Parish Teens! Another Great Opportunity to Make Friends While Serving the Community
The Oratory Parishes of St. Boniface & ABVM invite you to collaborate on a Valentine’s service project, to support Providence House, an organization that serves and advocates for women and families at risk of harm, who have histories of homelessness or justice-involvement.
When:
Friday, Feb. 7th, 6:30– 8:30pm, Newman Hall, 111 Willoughby St. Saturday, Feb. 8th, Providence House, Brooklyn
What: FRIDAY EVENING
Prepare Valentine’s care packages
Have fun mingling with other teens
Pizza and snacks for everyone.
Bring new or lightly worn nightwear, delicates, toiletries, bedsheets, towels, hats or gloves (if you can)
SATURDAY MORNING
Deliver care packages to Providence House
Why: Show the love this Valentine’s Day season to others in need. Support your community, and make some friends while doing it. If you have school-based community service obligations, this may help you. Great opportunity! Join us! Find more information on flyer in back of church.
